A few practical notes before you travel.
When to go
July to October brings the migration to the Mara. January to March is dry and warm, and April to June is green and good value.
Entry requirements
Check Kenya’s current entry rules before you fly, and make sure your passport is valid for at least six months.
What to pack
Soft bags, neutral layers, a warm fleece for early drives, sunscreen and binoculars.
Health
Speak to a travel clinic about vaccines and malaria tablets a few weeks before you travel.
